The Industry Forum

The industry forum on EC-TEL'06 aims to link innovation and research projects in order to identify new market-ready technologies coming out of research related work. Therefore, presentations should focus on new technology developments of industrial technology and software vendors within the learning domain. New technologies can be about new authoring platforms, new ways of creation learning content, new tools for didactical modeling, new approaches within learning management and competency management, new technologies for integration of learning into business solutions and further related topics. The focus should be on products or product components that are no longer than 1 year in the market.

Invited for particpation are innovative learning technology vendors, industry-oriented research organizations as well as large applying organizations and companies that are interested in identifying or evaluating upcoming learning technologies.

The industry forum will be a one day parallel session. It will be accompanied by an research and innovation oriented exhibition, where industrial partners present their latest developments and demonstrate how these technologies are being planned to be rolled out into the market. Presentations and Papers should contain an overveiw and live demonstration of the new technologies as well as a report on experiences made in user clinics or test scenarios.

The industry forum is chaired by representatives of various TEL projects of EU.
